I am a two time graduate of Georgia Southern University with both my B.S. in Psychology and my M.Ed. in Counseling Education with an Emphasis in Clinical Mental Health Counseling coming from Georgia Southern. I am currently the dissertation process for my Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy with an emphasis in Systemic Studies through University of Louisiana Monroe. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia, a Nationally Certified Counselor, and a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor. I have experience with diverse clients in a variety of settings. I believe people have the power to make new discoveries about themselves and what overcome the obstacles they face. It is my role to join and assist on this journey to achieve these goals or simply to try to make sense of their world and emerging identities. I have seen the power of individuals shaping their own future through transformation and I am passionate about learning, listening, encouraging balance and wellness to the lives of those I work with. I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to seek services and as such I proudly welcome those who feel that their lifestyle, lovestyle, or status has prevented them from seeking services. I understand the concern for privacy and the unease endorsed by individuals who are concerned about crowded lobbies or intrusion by insurance companies.
My clinical interests are especially working with relationship concerns regardless of lovestyle. I am also one of the few kink and alternate lifestyle friendly clinicians on the NCSF directory south of Atlanta. I believe services should be affirming, sex positive, and a true healing space. |
