Hello everyone and welcome to my page.
I am going to start using this blog section of my website as a platform to share information and resources as well as answer some of the questions I get emailed to me in a way that may can answer not only the person that sent in the question but also to others who may have the same question but were not ready to actually give their concern a voice. I am hoping to start making this at least a weekly blog post and it is my hope that this is able to expand the services offered beyond direct psychotherapy and into the realm of consulting and coaching. I will post updates to services offered here as well as things that I feel can contribute to overall wellness. A fantastic mentor once stressed the importance of skills and resources and I feel that I would be failing at my career if I only worked to provide skills in such a narrow scope of individual contacts when I can further my reach with this platform. Also, there are so many resources out there that people can use between sessions, in addition to services, and sometimes as an alternative or step-down from services. Stay tuned y'all, Adam

AuthorWrite something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview. ArchivesCategoriesDisclaimer:
Sometimes people don’t need full psychotherapy or coaching and can meet their needs with self-help or other resources. Sometimes we come across things that can be a great addition to supplement already used services or things that we think may improve quality of like. The world is full of products, resources, and self-help material with varying degrees of usefulness and value. We’ve all gone through a bunch of it and I have found some that I think are the both useful and valuable. These are things that I and my colleagues use and recommend all the time both professionally and personally. Some links presented are affiliate links and as such there is a financial compensation for those products bought through such links. There is no requirement to buy anything from any of these links nor is there any requirement to buy anything recommended by me or anyone from Counseling Statesboro at any time. However, thank you in advance for buying through these links if you choose to do so. The money that is received from promoting resources are used to increase quality of services rendered and impact on in need populations through funding trainings, outreach, and expansion of pro-bono work. With that said, here is how I decide what is going to be promoted: 1. I think it is awesome and actually worth time and money. 2. I would promote it even if I wasn’t getting paid (and many times you will see me post multiple places up that don’t offer affiliate links because I am thrifty and why waste money if you don’t have to). 3. It is easy to understand, utilize, or engage in. All of these products meet these three criteria in my opinion. I am also going to be writing reviews about what I feel may be great about the products, who is the population they were created for, and how I feel that they can be of use to you in your journey for personal, mental, interpersonal, or relationship health. Also, if you love/hate a resource, let me know. If it has changed and is not good anymore or no longer meets the need like a competitor, I want to know so I can update my resource list. |
